Gameplay Questions

ゲームプレイについて

How do matches work?

Each match is first-to-3-wins (best of 5 rounds). Every round, you'll receive strategic recommendations from S.A.D.I. based on opponent patterns, momentum, and game state. Choose your move wisely — the first player to win 3 rounds wins the match!

Is Rock Paper Scissors purely luck?

Not in the Janken Pro League! While there's always an element of chance, skilled players gain significant advantages through pattern recognition, strategic choice selection, momentum management, and psychological awareness. S.A.D.I. helps you understand these elements.

What do the percentage numbers mean during a match?

The percentages show your estimated win chance for each move based on the current game context. These calculations factor in multiple variables including match momentum, situational bonuses, and strategic positioning. Higher percentages indicate moves that S.A.D.I. recommends.

What are Attack, Defend, and Wildcard strategies?

These are strategic categories that describe the nature of each move in context. Attack strategies are aggressive plays for when you're behind. Defend strategies are conservative plays for protecting a lead. Wildcard strategies are unpredictable moves to confuse opponents.

S.A.D.I.について

What is S.A.D.I.?

S.A.D.I. stands for Situational Adaptive Dynamic Intelligence — our proprietary decision framework that powers every match. S.A.D.I. analyzes game state, tracks psychological momentum, detects patterns, and generates strategic recommendations in real-time.

How does S.A.D.I. make recommendations?

S.A.D.I. evaluates multiple factors including your current score, opponent behavior patterns, momentum shifts, psychological pressure states, and strategic context. The exact algorithms and weightings are proprietary, but the recommendations help you make more informed decisions.

Can I ignore S.A.D.I.'s recommendations?

Absolutely! S.A.D.I. provides guidance, but you always have full control over your moves. Some players find success by following recommendations closely, while others use them as one input among many. Developing your own style is part of the journey.

League & Competition Questions

リーグと大会について

What leagues are available?

We currently have four official competitions: The Janken Pro League (JPL) — a tiered seasonal league with promotion/relegation. The RPS World Series (RPSWS) — knockout tournaments. The Janken World Ranking (JWR) — global ELO-style rankings. The RPS Ladder (RPSL) — daily challenge-based climbing.

How does the Janken Pro League work?

JPL runs in seasons with multiple tiers. You play daily matches (attack and defend games). Wins earn points, and at season end, top performers get promoted to higher tiers while bottom performers get relegated. It's like football/soccer league systems!

What is the RPS Ladder (RPSL)?

RPSL is a King of the Hill style competition. You challenge players ranked above you — if you win, you take their position and they drop down. You can make one challenge per day, and you must defend against challenges from below.

How do world rankings work?

The Janken World Ranking (JWR) uses a points-based system similar to tennis rankings. You earn or lose points based on match results across all competitions. Beating higher-ranked opponents earns more points. Rankings update after each match.
